#1.  How am I going to learn how to work this business?   Couple things: You must be willing to learn and take full responsibility for your success, 100%. Having said that, I meet one-on-one with each of my business partners every week to coach. Additionally, you will have a training platform with video step by step instructions. I have a website coach to help you with your website, so you're well taken care of. You have every opportunity to succeed. The question is will you take action and implement what we teach?

#2.  When did Global Resorts Start?   The membership was developed in 1986 and has been selling (and continues to sell) in the private sector for 3 times what Global Resorts Network offers it for. In March of 2007 Global Resorts Network became the exclusive marketing arm to bring this membership to the public for sale. Just in the short time it's been offered through Global Resorts to the public, many affilates have already made millions. 

#3.  Do I need any computer skills?     No. Most everyone knows little to nothing about computers when they start but they learn through doing. Many who have joined with no computer skills have gone on to earn thousands of dollars.

#4. How much total money should I have for marketing and advertising? Some teammates generate huge incomes simply by purchasing the lifetime membership then using a smattering of free marketing like YouTube, MySpace, Blogging, Articles, Craigs List, Squidoo, Facebook, etc.

Others use more traditional marketing like buying leads, placing ads in newspapers or using Google Adwords pay per click. If this is the case, we recommend you have at least $1K - $2K to get you through a 60 day period until you know what's going to work for you.

#5. How soon will I make money? Some are in profit mode within the first month, some the second month, some the sixth month and some join and never do anything. It's up to you. How fast can you get your coaching underway and take seriously the building of your business? How willing to learn are you? Will you implement? Too many variables to make promises.

#6. How and when will I receive my membership package and by what method will it arrive? Membership packages are web based. No hard packages arrive by mail. You will receive an email notification of your username and password to log into membership in 7-10 days.

#7. Is this another membership where we have to wait to travel or send off certificates?  No, not at all. This is a full service travel agency. With us you have the ability to travel immediately without certificates to mail in, no black out dates, and no waiting.

#8. Customer service is very important to me; if I need help or have questions about a particular resort, is there someone behind the scenes that can assist me? Customer service is available to answer any and all questions about your luxury vacation. In fact it's so important, each response is reviewed and checked to make sure that accurate information is given insuring all members get the best possible service.

#9. If I purchase the Gold Membership and then decide to upgrade to a lifetime Platinum membership, can I do it? Yep. A Gold Member can upgrade to Platinum for $2,000. It will cost you more this way and you leave a lot of money on the table by starting at Gold. I don't recommend it.

#10. Have you personally used the Membership? Yep. Stayed at Westgate Vacation Villas (one mile outside the gates of DisneyWorld). 2 bed/3 bath condo. 7 nights, total bill was $298. I only stayed a couple days at the Legacy Golf Resort so I didn't book through the membership but I could have stayed all week for what it cost me just 3 days w/o the membership!

Ash and I love piling pillows on the bed and watching a good movie. We especially like to watch “I Love ”re-runs until we crack up!

Other leisures I enjoy are scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and travel.

My Miracle Girl

When I was a foster parent, I had a fetal alcohol effects three month old baby girl delivered to my care.

The moment I saw her, I was sunk. She was the most beautiful, rosey cheeked, bright eyed infant with a head full of hair, that I'd ever seen. Little did I know how much that day would change my life.

I prayed over this little one every day for a healing in her life. Her social worker called just before Christmas in 1993, asking us if I'd be interested in adopting her. Of course! She had stolen my heart and I loved her to pieces! This little angel is my Ashley. What a wonderful gift from God for Christmas. Jesus did heal her and as the doctors cannot explain it, I can. He is awesome.

For years, my brother, Troy, now in his 40's has struggled with complications from diabetes.

He went blind a couple years ago and a stroke last year.

To know Troy, you'd think he doesn't have a care in the world. He's truly a remarkable man and I'm proud to call him my Bro.

Someday soon I hope to get him set up in his own home based business. He will be an awesome leader!

Over the past 30 years, my Mom and Dad have been foster parents to over 404 children. I saw what a difference they were making in the lives of these children and I wanted to follow suite.

I served as foster parents for 15 years. What's really a joy is when they come back years after they've grown and remember the good times we had. It's nice to know I did make a difference.

Below is my sister, Regina. She came into our lives when she was 7 years old with Autism as a foster placement in my Mom and Dad's home. The family fell in love with her and Mom and Dad adopted her. While she has her own challenges, we tell her she can do anything and provide her the opportunities to be just a normal girl. No doubt she'll just "hang" with the family after she graduates. She's so much fun to be around.

As for me, I'm a big scrapbooking fan. My passion is preserving family memories in archival albums. I'm a published scrapbook designer for various manufacturers and am often invited to conventions, stores and retreats to teach classes and techniques.

I always made sure that each foster child coming through my home had their own book about them. After seeing what an impact these books made in the lives of these children, I began advocating for them to each have one, paid for by the State. I authored a book and hands-on training called “Loving Through Lifebooks” for foster parents and social workers on how to make scrapbooks for children in care.

My Story:

I grew up in Palmdale, CA. I have an older brother, a younger brother and 2 sisters. As a little girl, I rode my bike until dark, played hide and seek for hours, played jacks, jump rope, tetherball and hoola hoop. I enjoyed dressing up, lemonade stands and being in Girl Scouts.

In Junior High School I ran track and did very well. Mom told me it's not nice to be beat the boys, I did anyway.

In high school I was in all the choir classes and made All-State. I wasn't allowed to really participate in extracurricular activities that required transportation so I pretty much had my fun in choir. I was very active in my church youth group and Job's Daughters.

I only remember going out to dinner a couple of times during my childhood. Once we flew to Michigan to see my Dad's side of the family over Christmas. Dad didn't like traveling and going places so . . . we didn't. We did however, go camping which is where I get my love for it today. Camping back then meant tossing a sleeping bag on the ground and that's it.

Spending Quality Time With Family Means Everything To Me

My Mom was always very present in my life. Going back to my earliest years, I remember her being home. Dinner was on the table every night, the home was kept clean, she participated in all my school activities as the Room Mother (remember those?) She was the Scout Leader, Job's Daughter leader, and volunteered for anything involving my activities. I remember loving that.

Growing up, there was never a conversation about me going to college or having a career. I was brought up in old school thinking where I was going to grow up to be a homemaker. Mom taught me to cook, keep house, sew, and take care of children. It's actually a wonderful privilege for Moms to be able to do that, but I was not prepared for "real life" of being able to earn a living should I need to. Then, . . . I graduated from high school. My folks up and moved across the United States, I had no husband in the wings, and Boy Oh Boy . . . did I need a job!

I worked as a secretary at the business my Dad had owned when I met Steve. We married and had 2 wonderful boys.

I started a home daycare business. Being around babies all day, I found that I was loosing my identity. I needed to have adult conversations! I went to school, learned my skill sets and became a legal secretary.

I loved my career in the legal field. It was during this time, being around the more affluent, I learned that people took vacations (that wasn't something I grew up with - we went camping). I discovered that people went out to eat and did the whole fine dining thing. I learned that there was a world out there of places to go and things to do.

BOY DID I EVER LEAD A SHELTERED LIFE!

I wanted to do what these people were doing and enjoy life like they were! Understanding this, after 7 years I was really at the top of my pay scale with my legal career, and I knew if I wanted more from life, I would need to change directions. I knew that if I changed nothing, nothing would change. I must be pro-active and take action. It would mean learning a whole new field and skill sets, but I was determined.

I decided I could generate income in the 6 figure bracket if I became a Realtor. I went to school and did just that. My first year was filled with learning new skill sets, failing forward, hard work, facing the learning curve, but I hit my 6 figure mark. I was on my way. I continued to enjoy a very successful real estate career for 13 years and then the market fell to pieces in 2005.

It was obvious to me by the first quarter of 2006, if I didn't do something quick, I was going to go under. My own personal properties weren't renting, my listings weren't selling, my buyers weren't buying, the phone stopped ringing and property values started to decline. So I turned to the home business industry. I would need to learn a whole new field and skill sets, but again, I was determined.

I joined a business that I thought would be my answer. However, it turned out to be a nightmare. Not only was there no substance to the product or customer service, or company, but I was being told to buy $10 leads and call them. With all this coming into clarity, I knew I had to stop this madness and I hung up this particular business. This lesson would cost me $35K and very valuable lessons. It was all part of my learning curve. I made no money. Zero. Zip. Nada.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? Well, I sure didn't give up or make excuses. I learned what NOT to do. I sought out education through seminars and personal coaching, then went back at it with better decisions this time. I learned to pick better businesses and I understood the value of a mentor.

I joined Global Resorts Network. Night and day contrast! I experienced first hand what a difference it makes to have a product and pay plan worth talking about. I joined with a mentor who new how to use personal branding and advertising in ways many are not doing, thus it enabled me to kick off my business. I made $2Kmy first week. That's what the right product and marketing can do.

Over time I've added an additional businesses to my portfolio as well as affiliate programs for multiple streams of income.

Today I enjoy helping others in their home based business. I do it full time.
